We’ve all read by now that Rosie O’Donnell was to retire from The View in mid-June. We’ve also probably all read that yesterday, ABC confirmed that she has exited her contract early due to a large argument between herself and co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck on Wednesday.

Clearly my favorite site the past few days has been TMZ, since I’m about to refer to them again. They’re reporting that New York Post is saying that Rosie O’Donnell is really leaving The View not because of contract issues but because she wanted to kick Babs off and, of course, couldn’t.
